   Online pre-study

   Students complete online theory, training videos and the required bloodborne-pathogen study before practical training. Preparation covers consultation, infection control, brow design, pigment selection and the manual hair-stroke method.

2. 2

   Practical training

   Across three consecutive practical days, students develop mapping and stroke control on artificial skin and mannequins before progressing to two supervised live-model days and a complete microblading procedure.

3. 3

   Theory assessment

   Students complete the course theory assessment after working through the study material and practical instruction. It confirms understanding of client safety, infection control, treatment planning and procedure protocols.

4. 4

   Case studies

   Five model case studies are completed and submitted for Educator review after practical training. Staged feedback helps students improve mapping, pigment choices, hair-stroke placement and healed-result documentation.

5. 5

   Final assessment & certification

   After theory and case-study requirements are complete, students attend a final practical assessment. A PCASA-recognised certificate is awarded when the required standard is met, with training aligned to the referenced SPCP code of ethics.
